Resolve is required if you want to stay in shape. Making the decision to get fit is the most critical step you can take. Many of us make health and fitness resolutions for the New Year around the holidays, but I’m here to tell you that you should make a health and fitness commitment every day! Our procrastination is the actual obstacle to us achieving our fitness objectives, even if we blame external factors such as office goodies, fast food, or “the holidays” for it.
There have been times when we’ve convinced ourselves, “Someday I’ll be able to wear that outfit,” or “I’ll get back to my college weight.” Every year, we put off starting our exercise and health resolutions until a later date. This endless procrastination is time to come to an end because all we end up doing is wishing for more. Make the resolution to transform these dreams into a reality. There is no more time to waste. According to Shakespeare, “defer no time; delays have dangerous outcomes.”
The key to a happy and healthy existence is to accept that there is no such thing as a tomorrow. The decisions we make now will determine our future. When we stop and reflect, it’s clear that today is all we’ve got. The past does not exist any longer. What is ahead is still a mystery. Everything lives only in the here and now! Your future self will only exist if the person you are now decides that they are going to do anything right now. Every day is a new opportunity to improve one’s health and fitness.
There are no shortcuts when it comes to achieving long-term fitness goals. There is no way around this! It’s impossible to predict what this will mean for any individual. Working with a personal trainer is the greatest method to maximize your time and effort. He or she will assist you in determining which routines and diets are most suited to your body type and lifestyle. You’ll be a lot more likely to achieve your fitness objectives if you have a detailed plan for each day.
Contrary to popular belief, attaining your ideal level of physical health and fitness is not as difficult as you would think. The key is to choose an exercise routine that works for your body type and goals, and then stick with it every day. A positive attitude is more important than a strict training schedule. Using this two-pronged approach, physical fitness will lose its elusive and mysterious nature. Diet and exercise plans can be found online. It’s not impossible to find a program that works for you. “Do I have the resolve and motivation to strive for my goals each and every day?” is the actual question. Do I really want to live my life as a health and fitness goal every day?
The greatest secret to happiness in life is the knowledge that today is the only time we have left. Every decision you make today has the potential to shape your future. Every day is an invitation and an opportunity for you to become a better and more complete version of yourself. Are you trying to get fitter? Please tell me how I may improve my physical condition. Then resolve to do what has to be done today and every day going forward! Every day is an opportunity to improve your health and fitness.
You are capable of completing this task! I truly believe that you can be the person you want to be. There is no one-size-fits-all answer to this question. That burning desire, nay, that unwavering determination, is what will make your fitness objectives a reality!
